Birmingham 2022 to pass Glasgow’s 1.3m ticket sales, commercial income ‘in good place’

The organisers of Birmingham’s 2022 Commonwealth Games, which get under way this evening with the opening ceremony, expect to soon surpass the ticket sales total registered at Glasgow 2014 and are also confident about meeting commercial revenue targets.
