Online bookmaker Betway has been unveiled as the title sponsor of snooker’s Gibraltar Open.

The deal has been signed ahead of this year’s tournament, which gets underway today (Wednesday) at the Tercentenary Sports Hall in Gibraltar. The event runs until Sunday.

Betway also sponsors snooker’s UK Championship.

The Gibraltar Open, a world ranking event, was first staged in 2015 and last year was won by Welshman Ryan Day.
