Betway joins British Horseracing Authority partner scheme

Betting and gaming company Betway has become the latest authorised betting partner of the British Horseracing Authority.

Betway has signed a three-year deal and will now make voluntary payments to help fund British racing.

In return, Betway will have access to various partner benefits such as the ability to negotiate sponsorship or commercial marketing rights, as well as being able to contribute to talks regarding fixtures and gaining preferential pricing structures with media-rights holders.

Betway already serves as title sponsor of the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the annual Cheltenham Festival, as well as various other events on the UK racing calendar.

Anthony Werkman, marketing director at Betway, said: “We have some exciting opportunities we are exploring throughout the racing calendar and look forward to announcing our sponsorship portfolio for 2017 and beyond shortly.”
