The Betsson Group of sports betting and casino gaming sites has renewed its sponsorship of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Betsson’s new three-year deal names the company as the exclusive betting partner of the ice hockey competition. Betsson became the main sponsor of the league at the start of last season.
Betsson will benefit from brand exposure during games and will also provide financial support to the league’s 14 clubs. Additionally, the agreement will seek to enhance the ice hockey experience both on and off the ice.
Betsson will also continue to support the SHL’s charity initiatives and provide unique content for the competition.
The deal has been signed ahead of the start of the new SHL season on Saturday.
