Betano supports Portuguese market entry with Braga deal

Portuguese Primeira Liga football club SC Braga has agreed a three-season deal to make online gambling brand Betano its new main sponsor.

The contract covers the three seasons spanning 2019-20 to 2021-22. Betano will receive front-of-shirt branding across Braga’s first team, along with its B team and the Under-23 squad.

Betano is a new player in the Portuguese betting market, having launched in the country in May.

Betano is also currently active in Germany, Austria and Romania, while the group operates in Cyprus and Greece under the brand of parent company Stoiximan Group.
