Beijing Guoan secures Huadu Spirits Group partnership deal

Chinese baiju producer Huadu Spirits Group has signed a new partnership with Chinese Super League football club Beijing Sinobo Guoan.

At a press conference in the Beijing Worker’s Stadium yesterday, Huadu unveiled a new limited edition, co-branded baijiu bottle with Beijing Guoan.

Baijiu – literally ‘white liquor’ in English – is made from fermented sorghum. It is the most popular spirit in China and the best-selling spirit in the world.

In 2017, 10.8 billion litres of baijiu were sold worldwide, according to drinks industry research group the International Wines and Spirits Record (IWSR).
