BCCI lands Air India partnership

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has agreed a one-year partnership with Air India.

India’s flag carrier airline will provide travel services to India’s national teams, with the deal backdated to be effective from September 1. Air India will also provide similar services for BCCI staff and officials.

Air India has held endorsement deals with India stars such as Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa, while it fields its corporate teams in state-level tournaments and the BCCI Corporate Trophy.
