Janalakshmi Financial Services (Jana) has agreed a deal to become an associate sponsor of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
The three-year deal will run until 2019 and covers Test, one-day international and Twenty20 matches played in India. Jana will serve as the official financial services partner of the Indian national team.
Jana will benefit from in-stadium brand exposure and advertising during 68 matches over the course of the agreement.
The company will also sponsor the ‘Jana Bankable Player’ award, which will be given to the most dependable player after each match of India’s upcoming Test series against New Zealand and England.
Fans will be able to vote for the most ‘bankable’ player on the www.janabankableplayer.com website, and via social media using the #JanaBankable hashtag. Supporters who vote will be given the chance to win match tickets.
India begins the first of its three Test matches against New Zealand in Kanpur on Thursday.
