German Bundesliga football champion Bayern Munich has announced a three-year deal making fashion giant Giorgio Armani its new partner in the fashion and luxury clothing category.
From the 2014-15 season, Bayern’s team and management will wear custom-made suits from Giorgio Armani’s Made to Measure collection when on official club business.
All garments will be specially labelled for each player or member of staff. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Along with securing back-to-back Bundesliga titles in the recently completed 2013-14 season, Bayern also won its second consecutive DFB-Pokal following a 2-0 extra-time victory in the final over Borussia Dortmund.
