German Bundesliga football club Bayern Munich has become the first partner for a new blockchain-based venture from fan engagement and monetisation company Stryking Entertainment.
Stryking, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based mobile games developer Animoca Brands, has signed a licensing partnership with Bayern to produce and distribute digital collectibles based on its players. Bayern will be part of a global platform for blockchain-based digital collectibles centred around popular sports licenses.
