Basketball Australia nets double deal

The Basketball Australia has struck sponsorship deals with vitamin tablets and drinks brand Berocca and the New Era Cap Company.

Berocca will serve as a major partner of Australia’s men’s national team, which is known as the Boomers.

The two-year deal will see Berocca support the Boomers on the road to the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

New Era, meanwhile, will serve as the official headwear supplier of Basketball Australia, the sport’s national governing body. The length of the deal was not disclosed.

As part of the agreement, New Era will provide the Boomers with beanies, caps and snapbacks. Products will also be provided to the women’s national team and Australia’s wheelchair basketball sides.

Fans will be able to purchase products from the headwear range, starting from today’s (Friday’s) World Cup qualifier between the Boomers and Iran at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena.
