Barcelona secures fresh deal in Southeast Asia

Spanish LaLiga football club Barcelona has sealed a regional sponsorship deal in Southeast Asia with air fresheners brand Ambi Pur.

The deal covers Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong.

The agreement will run for two seasons, from 2015-16 to 2016-17.

The Asian division of multinational Procter & Gamble, the parent company of Ambi Pur, has been a partner of the club since 2013 through the shampoo brand Head & Shoulders.

As part of the agreement, fans will have the opportunity to win a trip to Barcelona to visit the Nou Camp and watch a game in person.

“We are very happy since this agreement allows us to expand our business relationship with a large corporation such as Procter & Gamble,” Barcelona’s Asia-Pacific managing director Xavier Asensi said. “The synergy between its leading brands in different sectors and territories is something really interesting for our club.”
