Tools company Stanley Black and Decker has agreed to become a sponsor of Spanish Liga football club Barcelona through to July 2017.
The deal relates to the firm’s Stanley, Black and Decker, Dewalt and Facom brands of power, hand and security tools.
As an official club sponsor, Stanley Black and Decker will acquire image association and digital marketing rights, sponsorship rights for tours and friendly matches, as well as hospitality rights at the club’s Camp Nou stadium.
The deal will also enable the two parties to collaborate on promotional campaigns such as ‘Striker Challenge’, which gives customers of Stanley Black and Decker the chance to win special experiences with the club.

Coupled with exclusive in-store promotions and unique live events, this partnership will heighten global brand exposure to our key target audiences.”
Barcelona needs to beat Atlético Madrid tomorrow in its final game of the 2013-14 Liga season to finish top of the table and prevent its opponent from winning the title.
