Egyptian bank Emirates NBD has agreed a regional sponsorship deal with Spanish LaLiga football club Barcelona.
The three-year deal will run until June 2020.
As part of the agreement, Barcelona will work with Emirates NBD to create a prepaid card that will provide customers with benefits including match tickets and entry into exclusive prize draws.
Barcelona director Silvio Elías said: “We are very pleased that such a prestigious bank in the region as Emirates NBD has thought of forming an association with FC Barcelona. This three-year partnership will reaffirm the club’s growth in emerging markets and we are sure that Barça’s fan base in Egypt will continue to grow thanks to our association with the bank.”
