Bang & Olufsen brings the noise ahead of Super League launch

Danish audio visual company Bang & Olufsen has expanded its backing of English women’s cricket by becoming an official supporter of the new Super League competition.

The Super League will commence this weekend, with all six teams in action across Saturday and Sunday. Bang & Olufsen became an official supplier of England women’s cricket in July 2015 and will now receive a range of Super League sponsorship and marketing rights, including the chance for its customers to win a seat on the VIP pitch-side sofa during the inaugural Finals Day at the Essex County Ground on August 21.

The inaugural season of the Super League will get underway on July 30 when Yorkshire Diamonds host Loughborough Lightning at Headingley in Leeds. Over the following 15 days, the six teams will take part in a round-robin Twenty20 competition ahead of Finals Day.

The Super League will expand from being a T20 event in 2016 to incorporating both T20 and 50-over formats in future seasons. All six teams have been awarded hosting rights for a four-year period, from 2016-2019 inclusive.
