The German Sailing Bundesliga (DSBL) has signed its first major partner after agreeing a sponsorship deal with automotive manufacturer Audi.
Already an established presence in German sailing through its title sponsorship of the country’s national team, Audi joins the DSBL for its second season.
In 2014, the league will be expanded into two divisions, featuring nine races under a promotion and relegation format with 36 teams competing.
The terms of the DSBL’s agreement with Audi were undisclosed.
