ATP connects with Vixlet

The Association of Tennis Professionals has announced a strategic partnership with social networking platform Vixlet.

Under the agreement, the terms for which were undisclosed, the California-based company becomes a gold partner of the ATP World Tour and a gold partner of the showpiece finale to the men’s tennis calendar, the World Tour Finals.

Vixlet will benefit from an on-court presence at the 2014 World Tour Finals at London’s O2 Arena this month and stage an interactive fan experience.

ATP and Vixlet will roll out mobile features for fans in the second quarter of 2015 that will be available on all major platforms, including the ATPWorldTour.com website.

Vixlet joins Rolex, Moët Chandon and Enel as a gold partner of the ATP World Tour. In April, the Women’s Tennis Association became the first international sports league to agree a strategic partnership with Vixlet.
