Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football club Atlético Mineiro has agreed a deal for financial services company Banco BMG to become its new main shirt sponsor.
The club has not officially announced the deal but president Sérgio Sette Câmara said an agreement has been reached between the two parties. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
BMG will replace rival financial services company Caixa as the club’s main shirt sponsor.
Earlier this week, Atlético signed a kit sponsorship deal with local vehicle insurance company Auto Truck. The company’s branding will feature on the front-left area of the team’s shorts until the end of the 2019 season.
BMG previously sponsored Atlético between 2010 and 2014.
Last week, BMG agreed a deal to become the main sponsor of fellow Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Corinthians.
