Atalanta expands RadiciGroup partnership

RadiciGroup, a multinational corporation that operates across the chemicals, plastics and synthetics sectors, has become the main sponsor of Italian Serie A football club Atalanta.

The deal will run for the duration of the 2018-19 season and cover two domestic competitions – Serie A and the Coppa Italia – and the Uefa Europa League European competition.

Last season, RadiciGroup served as the club’s main sponsor in the Europa League and Coppa Italia.

RadiciGroup was established in the Bergamo area of Italy where Atalanta is based and the company still has 1,200 members of staff in the region. The company also said that it was keen to strike a deal with the football club as it produces a number of products that can be used in the sport.
