Assos steps up to take UCI team title rights after NTT departure

UCI Cycling team NTT Pro Cycling will undergo a name change ahead of the 2021 season after Swiss cycling apparel brand Assos upgraded its sponsorship contract to include headline sponsor status.

The deal secures the team's future, which had been in question since NTT decided not to continue its title sponsorship and backing of the team beyond 2020.
