South Korean airline Asiana Airlines has become a top-tier partner of the 2015 Gwangju summer Universiade.
Asiana will serve as a global premium partner to the biennial multi-sport event in the Korean city and will provide airline-related services for the participating athletes, such as airline tickets and baggage services.
Additionally, Asiana Airlines will promote the Universiade through its aircraft, which travel more than 100 routes around the world.
Asiana Airlines benefits from the right to use the official Gwangju Universiade logo in these national and international activations and can also advertise on athletes’ uniforms and at competition venues.
The 2015 Gwangju summer Universiade takes place from July 3-14 next year and the event’s organising committee already has global premium partner agreements in place with SK C&C, SK Telecom and Kia Motors in the respective designations of IT, telecommunications and transportation.
