Banking group ANZ has extended its title sponsorship of the ANZ Championship, the top netball division across Australia and New Zealand, for a further three years.
The 2014 Championship begins this weekend and ANZ has served as naming partner since the inaugural edition in 2008.
ANZ’s new agreement runs until the end of the 2016 campaign and reinforces the bank’s established support for netball in Australia and New Zealand from grassroots level to the elite game.
ANZ Championship general manager Andy Crook said: “The partnership between ANZ and the ANZ Championship is a significant investment not just in netball, but in women’s sport in Australia and New Zealand. The ANZ Championship has a healthy reputation in women’s sport worldwide and the league’s seventh season is shaping up to be the most competitive we’ve had.”
