Asset management company Amundi has agreed a deal to become a premier partner of the Hong Kong Open, the third tournament on the 2014 European Tour golf calendar.
Amundi has already built up an affiliation with the sport, having served as a major sponsor of the Open de France event for the last three years.
“In addition to the international visibility it will offer Amundi, it will also enable us to share convivial sports moments with our clients and local partners,” Amundi Hong Kong’s chief executive officer, Xiaofeng Zhong, said.
Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiménez will defend his title at this year’s tournament, which takes place from December 5-8 at the Hong Kong Golf Club.
The financial terms and length of the deal were not disclosed.
