German financial services company Allianz has reached an agreement to become an official partner of the German Golf Association (DGV).
The financial terms of the multi-year agreement that formalises Allianz as the official insurer of the DGV were not disclosed.
Manfred Boschatzke, head of advertising and sponsorship of Allianz Germany, said: “Allianz Germany has worked for many years in the insurance sector, together with the German Golf Association. Therefore, it was a logical step for both Allianz and the DGV to act as a partner and make (its partnership) visible.”
Allianz will benefit from a presence at major events including the 2015 Solheim Cup at the Golf Club St. Leon-Rot and provide special insurance offers to DGV clubs and members. It gains the rights to use DGV logos and marks in advertising campaigns.
