AFL’s North Melbourne renews Mazda deal

Japanese automotive manufacturer Mazda has extended its long-running sponsorship of AFL Aussie rules football team North Melbourne.

The new deal will run until at least the end of the 2022 season. Mazda’s partnership with the club spans two decades, with the company first signing on as the sole major sponsor of North Melbourne in 1999.

Mazda benefits from brand exposure on North Melbourne’s kit as part of the deal. Its previous agreement had been due to expire at the end of the year.

Mazda also serves as the sole major sponsor of the club’s AFL Women’s team, the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos.
