AFL’s Crows replace BLK with ISC

AFL Aussie rules football team the Adelaide Crows has agreed a kit partnership with Australian sportswear manufacturer ISC.

The five-year deal covers the 2017 to 2021 seasons and also includes the Crows’ South Australian National Football League team, administration and support staff.

ISC will produce the Crows’ playing and training gear, including the club’s tri-colour guernsey, as part of the deal.

ISC chief executive Brett Corrick said: “We have invested significant resources into the development of athlete’s technical sporting apparel and fan gear and are excited to bring that expertise to the Crows.”

The deal brings an end to the Crows’ association with fellow Australian sportswear company BLK, which was placed into receivership in November.

The Crows’ four-year partnership with BLK, which was signed ahead of the 2015 season, had been due to run until the end of the 2018 campaign but the team has opted to end the relationship early.

BLK was purchased by a group of private investors earlier this month. Since its collapse in November, it has seen kit partnerships with AFL teams the Brisbane Lions, Western Bulldogs and Richmond; NRL rugby league outfit the Gold Coast Titans and South African Super Rugby franchise the Sharks all come to an end.
