AFL champions bring Ak-Chin Indian Community on board

The Arizona Rattlers, reigning champion of indoor American football competition the Arena Football League, have agreed a multi-year home field naming rights deal with the Ak-Chin Indian Community.

Under the partnership, the terms of which were undisclosed, the Rattlers’ home field at US Airways Centre will be known as Ak-Chin Indian Community Field. A new 40-foot logo will be featured in midfield.

The Arizona Rattlers will use their resources to serve the Ak-Chin Community with a focus on supporting youth and education.

Additionally, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Arizona Rattlers have committed to supporting the Children’s Heart Gallery – an organisation dedicated to using the work of photographers to help older children in foster care find adoptive parents. Ak-Chin Indian Community will donate 150 tickets to the Children's Heart Gallery for all remaining games in the 2014 season.
