The AFL Aussie rules league has opened up a new commercial category after entering into a partnership with national equipment hire company Coates Hire.
The deal will run for the rest of 2014 and throughout 2015.
Under the deal, Coates Hire will become the first official hire equipment partner of the AFL.
Coates Hire will also supply the AFL’s major events with equipment such as generators, power distribution units, lighting towers, temporary buildings and other types of infrastructure.
Darren Birch, general manager of commercial operations at the AFL, said: “The AFL has a diverse range of official partners across a host of commercial categories, and we are pleased to add a new category of hire equipment with Coates Hire now coming on board as part of the AFL family.”
