Aeroplan pledges loyalty to Toronto 2015

Organisers of the Toronto 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games multi-sport event have agreed a commercial partnership with loyalty management brand Aeroplan.

As the official loyalty programme supplier for the Games, Aeroplan will team up with fellow Toronto 2015 affiliate Imperial – the official fuel and convenience store supplier – to give customers shopping at Esso petrol stations across Canada with an Esso Extra or Aeroplan card the chance of winning one of two grand prize trips to the event.

The promotion runs until March 30 and a further online giveaway via the getintothetornoto2015games.com portal, offering the chance to win four tickets to the daily featured event, has also been launched.

John Boynton, chief marketing officer of Aeroplan’s operating company Aimia, said: “This partnership allows Aeroplan to support athletes on an international level and will bring our members unique opportunities to engage in an unforgettable sport experience.”

The Pan American games take place in Toronto from July 10-26, while the Parapan American Games will be staged in the Canadian city on August 7-15.
