Adidas has agreed extended deals with New Zealand rugby union stars Richie McCaw and Dan Carter to continue their roles as company ambassadors until 2016.
The pair will continue to work with the German sportswear firm to promote rugby at all levels on a global scale, as well as assisting the company to enhance its product development.
Adidas has a strong relationship with the New Zealand Rugby Union, having signed a 20-year partnership agreement with the governing body in 1999. The deal will last until 2019 and provides funding for all levels of rugby in New Zealand, ranging from grassroots activity to professional national teams.
