ACEA signs up insurance partner for 35th America’s Cup

Insurance company XL Catlin has signed on as a global partner of sailing event the America’s Cup.

Under the terms of the deal with the America’s Cup Event Authority, Dublin-headquartered XL Catlin becomes the official insurance partner of the 35th America’s Cup, which is currently ongoing, and the presenting partner of the America’s Cup Volunteer Program.

The America’s Cup Volunteer Program, presented by XL Catlin will see over 250 volunteers contribute to the staging of the America’s Cup World Series event in Bermuda from October 16-18 and will continue through to the America’s Cup Finals in June 2017.
