Online poker site 888poker has signed as an Official Sponsor of the annual World Series of Poker tournament for the fifth consecutive year.

As the WSOP’s International Online Poker Partner, 888poker will offer players that compete on 888poker-branded platforms opportunities to qualify for the WSOP.

The year’s edition of the WSOP marks the 50th anniversary of the longest-running and richest poker tournament series, which opens its doors in May at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

888poker has also announced the 2019 stops for its own-branded tournament festivals. The ‘888poker LIVE’ tournaments will be staged in London, Barcelona, Vienna and Malta.

The main event champion at each tournament will earn entry to the WSOP main event.
