Data Snapshot: NHL 2021-22

NHL sponsorship revenue has grown at double-digit YoY percentage increases over the last decade, according to the league, and the trend continued into the 2021-22 season as the worst effects of Covid-19 pandemic on the league’s event programme fell away.

The league’s central sponsorship portfolio, inclusive of licensing revenue associated with sponsorship deals, is valued at about $316m (€292.4m) across 58 deals in 2021-22, up about 14 per cent from $277m across 50 deals in the 2020-21 season.
