Nike clash with Reebok shows competitive side of kit sponsorship

DITCHING AN OLD partner and moving in with a new one is often acrimonious. Battles are often fought over property which In more normal circumstances would be seen as petty. In this case the jilted lover is Reebok which has been ditched as kit sponsor by NFL New York Jets in favour of Nike in a deal which runs from April 1st.
