Etihad deal drives social media mentions

SOCIAL MEDIA TRACKER analysis by Havas Sports & Entertainment's proprietary tool “The Flightdeck” showed that social media mentions for Manchester City reached three significant peaks over the last quarter: for the FA Cup Final against Stoke City (a), the announcement of the new Etihad sponsorship contract (b), and the Community Shield Game against Manchester United(c). The Channel breakdown of where these movements took place follows a consistent pattern across Manchester City as in football and sports in general: Twitter and News have the highest share of voice.
